Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, oversee the design and integration of mechanical systems, and provide technical expertise and guidance. Your role will involve strategic planning, project coordination, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.Competencies:Design ReviewProject Estimation & PlanningStakeholder ManagementFit/Gap AnalysisProject ImplementationNeeds AnalysisProject Scoping & Scope ManagementProject Status ReportingResponsibilities:Perform equipment sizing and selection, alternative analyses and other deliverables.Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities.Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements.Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.Support proposal efforts by evaluating RFP scope, identifying list of deliverables and estimating effort required.Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.Works autonomously.Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring calculations, requisitions, lists, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering.Ten or more (10+) years of relevant experience.Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.Extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical principles and practices.Advanced proficiency in mechanical engineering software and tools.Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.In-depth understanding of power distribution, control systems and electrical equipment.Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.Ability to develop and implement mechanical engineering standards and guidelines.Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal.High level of personal integrity.Strong relationship capabilities.Proficient in both written and spoken English.
