The National Supplier Performance Manager is responsible for managing our core supplier's business planning and performance, and maintaining a healthy financial position for Johnson Brothers; while working as a conduit between supplier and our branches across the U.S.Oversee Supplier(s) Planning Process:Develop tactical overlays to cluster/brand strategyEngage Johnson Brothers Leadership during processPlan / execute against suggested pricing strategiesBuild target account lists for identified activitiesPlan effective use of POSDevelop market execution plan Including measurable goals by geography, channel, customer, and brandIntegrate plan to drive Transformational Priorities Include brand training where appropriateOther Duties:Plan activity/goals against achieving brand standardsLead planning of national/local POS buys with Supplier(s)Follow Supplier(s) lead on innovation planning within assigned brands including programming, goal setting, inventory management, selling tools, kickoff meeting, training, tracking, etc.Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio priorities and key execution metrics by channel, geography, customer and brand across entire selling Johnson Brothers Network to achieve internal alignmentManage Budgets: Grant/Tactical/Trade $'s/Discounts/LMFIdentify and propose solutions to competitive pricing opportunities / challengesIncorporate "best practices" and other market learning's across the NetworkDevelop and plan against creative selling opportunitiesIn depth analysis of activities by channel, geography, customer and brandScorecard Performance across Johnson Brothers NetworkMeasure and update against execution plan and continually identify strategic gaps in planMeasure monthly progress against achieving brand standards and goals across networkManage Supplier(s) scorecard against innovation, on premise & other KPI'sDevelop business analysis for key accountsUse internal tracking of goals including displays, feature ads, pricing, distribution, visibility, accounts sold, menus, drink features, etc. to deliver aboveLead on identified Investment Activities Locally created POS / tactical spends / pricingAssist Supplier(s) in management of supplier(s) programming National POS / sampling / local media / etc.Monitor and recap against pricing strategies / programsAssess Supplier(s), Brand and Category health using syndicated data; including Nielsen, IRI, DISCUS, Etc.Overall Management of profitability for Supplier and Distributor alikeAssess and monitor spend against budgets to identify risk and/or opportunitiesRun standard and other reports for business needsCoordinate mid-month and end of month business reviews across channels with Supplier(s) LeadershipCoordinate quarterly business reviews and planning meetings with Supplier(s) LeadershipCollaborates with Supplier to build comprehensive training programs, designed to educate an enhance Johnson Brothers Sales personnel capabilitiesWorks in conjunction with Corporate Training PlatformEnsures all Supplier and Johnson Brothers Corporate Compliance measures are in place and being followed pertaining to designated portfolio(s)Work with Purchasing Department to ensure contractual obligations and asks are being adhered toIn conjunction, maintaining healthy Inventory levels for internal purposesOversight to Branch forecasting using LogilityDevelops influential relationships with local market sales leaders, including Regional Presidents, GM's, Sales Managers, Brand Managers, Etc.Plans and Executes Market Surveys upon Supplier(s) desired cadence across Johnson Brothers NetworkPreferred Requirements:4 Year DegreePeople management experienceBrand/Supplier management experienceExperience in Beverage Alcohol IndustryExcellent written and verbal communication skills & comfortable communicating with all levels, including Senior Level LeadershipExcellent organizational skills & attention to detail with a high sense of urgency, initiative & proactive planningAbility to think critically & solve problemsCapable of leading changeStrong presentation skills & ability to guide business conversationsData & Fact driven ways of workingWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools; specifically Excel & Power PointThe expected pay range for this role is $75,582 - $125,610. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
