This involves synthesizing various inputs in order to develop a daily/shift level production schedule, which will serve as the primary driver for the production facility.How You'll Create ImpactMaintains and modifies the production schedule, and communicates it to manufacturing operations and others, as necessaryAnalyzes the master production schedule from central supply chain for capability gaps to create the daily and shift level production plansConducts capability reviews, and communicates parameter changes across the organizationSupports other branches of Supply Chain related to site planning, and executes on follow up itemsParticipates in the continual improvement of planning practices to ensure best in class production planning capability of individual plant, and Zimmer Biomet as a wholeCollaborates within the production planning function to ensure standard processCommunicates with E2E planner regarding supply disruptions or changes to the master production scheduleMonitors the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manages inventory accuracyMonitors the integrity of the routings and work center capacities, updating as necessaryWhat Makes You Stand OutKnowledge of supply chain planning and management; including but not limited to forecasting, master scheduling, inventory and associated performance managementAbility to meet deadlines and produce outputs on a regular, timely basisUnderstanding of end to end supply chain interactions, activities, and underlying interdependenciesAbility to use analytical tools and extract meaningful information to issue, support, and execute decisionsAbility to communicate effectively across the organizationYour BackgroundPreferred Qualification: Planning experiencePreferred Qualification: Experience with medical devicesPreferred Qualification: Experience with ERP systemsMinimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience AMERPhysical RequirementsTravel ExpectationsUp to 10%EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
