Industrial Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with a strong background in supply chain planning, SAP, and PLM systems to support critical product lifecycle and planning activities. This role will focus on cutover planning, inventory management, and supply coordination across sites and suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute site-specific cutover plans including lead times, variant mapping, and T-lane setupPerform MRP and PP&L activities to support production and supply planningManage inventory builds, track first delivery timelines, and oversee initial order fulfillment to distribution centersCoordinate procurement of new components and manage phase-in / phase-out activitiesSupport lifecycle management, including system updates and retirement of obsolete materialsCollaborate with suppliers through S&OP processes and manage day-to-day supply communicationsIdentify supply risks (e.g., backorders) and implement mitigation strategiesWork cross-functionally with site teams, planning teams, and network capacity teamsAct as a key liaison between site, supply chain, and planning teamsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field3+ years of experience in supply chain planning / production planningStrong experience with SAP (PP/MM or related modules)Hands-on experience with MRP and inventory planningExperience with PLM tools (Windchill preferred or similar)Experience supporting cutover, NPI (New Product Introduction), or product lifecycle activitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or regulated manufacturingExposure to S&OP processes and supplier coordinationExperience working in multi-site or global supply chain environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
