State pharmacy tech license as required. Triage, interpret and input orders into computerized medication order system while meeting accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy. May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.

A professional level of knowledge generally obtained after a minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience as a registered Pharmacist or the completion of a PGY1 residency. Reports all incidents and breaches in the quality of care to the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacy Operations Manager or Director of Pharmacy.

Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills Optum/Alere prescriptions and as needed dispenses Optum/Alere medications according to standards of quality, customer service, productivity guidelines and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
