Job Overview: We are seeking an Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Practice (FP) physician to join our inpatient care team in North Carolina on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to provide impactful care while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Position Details: Start Date: ASAP Assignment Duration: 3 months with the option to extend Setting: Inpatient Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time (40 hours per week) No weekends or holidays required Patient Load: 10-15 patients per day (rounding) Paper charting (no EMR) Support staff includes Psychiatrists, Social Workers, RNs, and Primary Care providers Responsibilities: Provide high-quality inpatient care for adults Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage patient care plans Ensure thorough documentation and communication Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible Active medical license in the state of North Carolina (or eligible to obtain) Previous inpatient experience preferred Join a passionate team committed to patient-centered care in a supportive environment.
