This leadership role is pivotal in driving the transition to a clean, resilient, and just energy future. The successful candidate will oversee a unit that administers state and federal funding to improve access to renewable energy, increase community resiliency, reduce energy burdens, and advance environmental justice initiatives. Key responsibilities include strategic program design, efficient procurement, and policy implementation that aligns with the company's clean energy and environmental justice goals. The Managing Director will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements, fostering a diverse and skilled workforce, and maintaining strong partnerships with various stakeholders, including Tribes, local governments, and community-based organizations.Applicants for the Managing Director position should be strategic, action-oriented leaders with a solid understanding of clean energy development and environmental justice practices. The role requires a minimum of 9 years' of professional experience in managing complex programs, policy implementation, and procurement processes, with at least 2 years' in a supervisory capacity. The ideal candidate will have a background in public or business administration, public policy, environmental science, or a related field, and demonstrate competencies in leadership, organizational savvy, program administration, performance accountability, decision-making, and change management.
