This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working one-on-one with patients outside of a traditional clinical setting and who are passionate about supporting patients' independence and quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care and MonitoringObserve and monitor patients' physical and mental condition and report changes to the supervising nurseRecord vital observations including intake, output, and physical activity levels when appropriateDocument patient information accurately in patient care records or journalsPersonal Care AssistanceAssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygieneSupport patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning as neededAssist patients with the use of mobility aids such as walkers or canesPatient and Family EducationTeach patients and family members safe techniques for lifting, turning, and repositioning patientsProvide guidance on personal hygiene practices and safe home care routinesOffer support and education on maintaining proper nutrition and cleanlinessSafety and ComplianceMaintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient environmentFollow infection control procedures and asepsis standardsAdhere to agency policies, professional standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulationsProfessional ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare team membersReport unusual or changing patient conditions promptly to the nursing supervisorContribute to the agency's reputation by maintaining professionalism and delivering quality patient careRequired Skills and CompetenciesAbility to create and maintain a safe patient care environmentKnowledge of basic patient care and home health practicesStrong verbal communication and active listening skillsDependability and strong work ethicEmotional maturity and ability to handle sensitive situations professionallyEffective time-management and organizational skillsEducation, Experience, and Licensing RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCurrent Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) LicenseCurrent CPR CertificationTwo-Step TB Test requiredCOVID-19 vaccination preferredPrevious home health or caregiving experience preferredJoin Inspired Home CareInspired Home Care of Arizona is committed to providing exceptional home health services while building a supportive, respectful, and professional work environment for our caregivers and clinical staff.If you are passionate about providing compassionate care and helping patients remain safely in their homes, we encourage you to apply.
