Nurse Practitioner | Administration Location: Missouri, MO Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner – General Medicine MO and Make a Difference for Our Veterans We are seeking dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioners specializing in General Medicine to provide essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across Missouri. This flexible, high-impact role offers the opportunity to serve our nation's veterans while working in your own office locations within a 50-mile radius, on a PRN basis. Required Skills: Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current state certification Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine Ability to perform interview-based exams with physical assessment components (range of motion, muscle strength testing) Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail in documentation and report submission Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience conducting Compensation & Pension or disability assessments Knowledge of veteran healthcare policies and procedures Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records Certification in specific medical assessments related to veteran services Preferred Education and Experience: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in relevant medical fields Prior involvement in medical evaluations or assessments, especially related to disability or veteran care Other Requirements: Must own or have access to a suitable office space within designated locations Willingness to work on a PRN schedule, including half-day or full-day shifts Ability to travel locally within Missouri; all travel expenses covered in compensation Complete state and federal background checks and credentialing promptly No prescribing or treatment responsibilities involved; exams are primarily interview-based with limited physical assessments Ability to commit to ongoing administrative work, including report addendums and follow-up documentation Our competitive pay packages include flat-rate rates for half-day ($600) and full-day ($1,200) shifts, with a one-time bonus of $650 upon completing initial training and exams.
