This position is hyrbid - in office in 2x per month.As a Compliance Auditor, you will review and uphold compliance expectations according to the standards and regulations imposed by the California Department of Real Estate, Compass' Broker of Record, MLS, real estate trade associations, and internal risk management guidelines. You will provide reinforcement for transaction coordinators and play a critical role in ensuring our real estate transaction files are complete. You will oversee all compliance and administrative details throughout the transaction process from listing to close and spend most of the work day in transaction management programs reviewing those files. Your goal is to provide peace of mind for agents by measuring agent file submissions against extensive transaction checklists established by the Broker of Record per ethical, contractual, and statutory guidelines, and generally ensuring that files are fully compliant.At Compass You Will:Conduct routine reviews of open sales, lease and referral transactions to ensure that file reviews are occurring regularlyWork with the Broker of Record and Transaction Coordinators collaboratively to enhance efficienciesConduct a comprehensive random review of commercial, farm and ranch, and residential listing, lease, and sale transaction files prior to and after the scheduled closingEnsure that closing meets the compliance goalsEnsure real estate contracts, disclosures, and advisories are processed properly and in a timely matter, with a focus on the detailsPay careful attention to file review requirementsWhat We're Looking For:In-depth knowledge of Real Estate Transaction Coordination - MLS, Contracts, and Google SuiteStrong written and verbal communication5+ years of real estate experience with an active California real estate license required.Customer service oriented personalityImpeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skillsCompensation:The expected base pay for this position is $33.70-$36.53 per hour. This range reflects our good-faith estimate of what we intend to offer for this role at the time of posting. Final offers within this range will depend on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity. Additional compensation elements, such as bonuses, commissions, or equity grants, may be available, along with a full benefits program.
