Laborer - Glazier (Commercial Glass - Installer)
Job Title: Glazier - InstallerJob Description: J&A Glass is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Glazier - Installer. This is a full-time position, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.Responsibilities:Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructedLoad, offload, and deliver materials to work sitesAssist in the installation of glass, storefront/curtain wall, and doors with closers and thresholdsFollow instructions from the site Lead and ForemanAssist Lead Glaziers as neededAssist with brake metal installationIdentify and report issues with work material on siteMaintain a safe and clean work environmentRequirements:Comfort using hand and power tools1-2 years of basic construction labor experienceValid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIsMust be 18 years of age or olderAbility to lift up to 70 poundsMust be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitudeMust possess basic work tools and work well with others (specialty tools provided by J&A)Be quickly trained for forklift license, and boom lift/scissor lift certificationAbility to read and interpret shop drawingsMust be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as neededBenefits:Competitive starting wageOpportunities for fast advancement within the company.
