This role ensures the safe and efficient handling of fluids, monitoring of well performance, and proper operation of surface equipment. The position requires strong field awareness, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments.ResponsibilitiesFlowback & Well Testing OperationsAssist with rig-up, operation, and rig-down of flowback and well testing equipmentMonitor well performance, pressures, rates, and fluid returns during flowback operationsAdjust chokes and valves to control flow rates and maintain safe operating conditionsSupport well cleanup and initial production activitiesEquipment Operation & MaintenanceOperate and maintain flowback equipment including separators, tanks, manifolds, and flare systemsInspect equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality and identify potential issuesPerform basic maintenance and troubleshooting as neededData Monitoring & ReportingRecord and report well data such as pressures, flow rates, and fluid volumesMaintain accurate logs and documentation of daily operationsCommunicate operational updates and issues to supervisors and team membersSafety & ComplianceFollow all safety procedures, regulations, and best practicesParticipate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and job safety analyses (JSAs)Identify hazards and take appropriate action to mitigate risksEnsure proper handling and disposal of fluids and materialsTeam Support & Field OperationsWork closely with supervisors, engineers, and other field personnelAssist with mobilization and demobilization of equipment between job sitesSupport other field operations as neededSkillsBasic understanding of oil and gas production and flowback operationsAbility to operate field equipment safely and efficientlyStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read gauges, meters, and basic instrumentationGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in physically demanding outdoor environmentsAttention to detail and ability to follow proceduresQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in flowback, well testing, or oilfield operations preferredEntry-level candidates with relevant field experience may be consideredValid driver's license and ability to travel to field locationsWillingness to work long hours, including rotational schedules and weekendsBasic safety certifications (e.g., H2S Awareness, First Aid/CPR) preferredPosition DetailsLocation: Big Lake, TXPay Rate: $38-$41/per hrSchedule: 14/14 starting on Thursdays, 84 hours per week
