Full Time QC & AV Warehouse Technician Job Title: QC & AV Warehouse Technician Department: AVT Productions/ Santa Clara Job Type: Regular Full Time Classification: Non-Exempt Hourly Salary Range: $30 - $32 per hourJOB SUMMARY AVT Productions Specializes in high-touch white glove experiences for executive-level events. The QC & AV Warehouse Technician’s primary responsibilities include managing the quality of all audio visual equipment in the warehouse including Audio, Video, Lighting, Projection and other. Leading the testing of equipment that comes back from an event that comes back as “not working” and either repairing the equipment in-house or sending it to be repaired, as well as packing all new equipment and managing the inventory control system. The Ideal candidate for this role has past experience working with all forms of audio-visual equipment and has a background in electronic repair and maintenance. JOB RELATIONSHIPS Reports To Warehouse Manager Direct Reports: none RESPONSIBILITIES Managing the repair, maintenance, and quality control of all audio-visual components. Managing the implementation of new inventory Updating the inventory control system to maintain the integrity of the database Running an on-show site AV lead position Responsible for following protocols for A/V products and services. Operational support and training for all sound and lighting control devices within AVT Productions events and warehouse. Provide immediate response to requests for assistance with events in progress. Track inventory assets through physical inventory counting Maintain clean and safe working environments All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Experience in maintaining all forms of audio, video, lighting, and staging components Experience in electronic maintenance Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects. Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative. Ability to take direction without follow-up. Ability to work collaboratively with others for whom you have no direct supervisory authority.Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays and be on-call as necessary. Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on the changing priorities of the department. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Capability to stand, walk, kneel and/or crouch for long periods Capability to climb ladders and scaffolding Capability to lift & move excess of 60lbs as necessary for the normal flow of the daily workload unassisted and lift and move 100lbs with assistance. Capability to work in high places Capability to work in small cramped places Capability to work in hot, humid environments Capability to work in cold environments
