The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Finance team in budget, accounting, procurement, grants, and compliance, with a focus on creating and implementing financial strategies that support effective budget planning and ensure the equitable distribution of resources. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in accounting, who can serve as a key advisor to the CFO and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the organization's mission of providing a world-class education.Key responsibilities for the Deputy Chief Financial Officer include supporting the development of the annual budget and multi-year financial plans, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and leading the Finance team in all aspects of financial management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA, Master's, or CPA designation strongly preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in budget leadership and a proven track record of managing a multi-million dollar budget are required, with a preference for those with public sector work experience.
