Job Highlights: Specialty: Emergency Medicine Shifts: Flexible schedules with 3-4 shifts per month, including nights. Typical shifts range between 8 to 12 hours. Coverage: Scheduled shifts only, no on-call requirements. Patient Volume: Average of 1.5-2.5 patients per hour. Facilities: Hospital with 40 beds and certified stroke center services. Free-standing emergency department with 19 beds. Requirements: Licenses & Certifications: Current Virginia state license. DEA license and Virginia CSR certification. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Experience: At least 2 years of relevant logs are mandatory for consideration. Credentialing: Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days. Must submit timely responses to application requests. Additional Information: Must complete immunization requirements, including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Tetanus, Hep B, and COVID-19. Tuberculosis testing via T-Spot or QuantiFERON is required. Experience with Epic EMR preferred. APPs are encouraged to participate in ED code situations. Why This Opportunity?
