Maintenance ManagerNewton, Iowa Monday–Thursday | 6:00AM–4:30PMOur manufacturing client near Newton, IA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance and electrical functions in a high-production environment.This is a leadership role responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, driving preventative maintenance strategy, and maintaining plant availability above 90%. The ideal candidate will balance technical expertise with team development and safety leadership.What You’ll Be Responsible For:Leading all mechanical and electrical maintenance operationsDriving preventative and corrective maintenance strategyManaging capital projects, budgeting, parts inventory, and purchasingEnsuring MSHA and safety compliance across maintenance functionsDeveloping and empowering maintenance team membersUtilizing KPIs to improve reliability and operational performanceMaintaining plant uptime and operational efficiencyWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years of manufacturing maintenance leadership experienceStrong troubleshooting ability (mechanical and electrical systems)Experience reading schematics and isolating equipment issuesKnowledge of shop mechanics and industrial equipment operationsAbility to lead through accountability, communication, and culture-buildingBachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)Environment:Manufacturing facility operating 3 shiftsMay require coverage outside normal hoursIndustrial setting with typical plant conditionsThis is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance leader who wants to make a measurable impact on plant reliability, safety culture, and team development.
