They are currently seeking a Maintenance Team Leader at their Ames, Iowa facility (about 35 minutes from Des Moines).The Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for providing hands-on leadership to the maintenance team while ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment across the facility. This role oversees daily maintenance activities, supports technicians in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, and ensures preventative maintenance programs are executed effectively. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment problems, supporting repairs involving PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and circuit boards, coordinating maintenance projects, and working closely with production teams to minimize downtime. The Team Leader will also help mentor and develop technicians, prioritize maintenance work, and coordinate with contractors when needed to maintain safe and efficient operations.This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, providing a consistent work week while still offering opportunities for overtime when needed.
