Civil Engineer / Project Manager – Land Development / Public Works

Halff has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer in our Land Development / Public Works group, in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of design experience in residential and / or commercial development projects, ability to manage projects, clients, and junior team members, and desire to be a motivated ‘seller-doer’.What You Will DoPerform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projectsProjects will include a variety of land development site designsIn addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include research, coordination, project management, staff management, cost estimating, permitting for land disturbance and preparation of bid packages as well as technical specificationsAssist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedulesThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projectsYou will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationshipsYou will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractorsWhat You Will NeedBachelor's in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree6+ years of relevant engineering design experienceProfessional Engineering (P.E.)
