In this pivotal and senior role, you will oversee complex engineering projects, drive technical excellence, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, inspiring teams and advancing the goals of company.ResponsibilitiesLead the engineering design and permitting of land development projects in the office.Must be licensed in Florida as a professional engineer.Manage engineering delivery teams in residential subdivision and commercial site design.As EOR, you will conduct technical review of engineering plans and calculations, and develop junior staff members.Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and technical milestones to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutionsClient and project management activities to deliver quality designs and permits.Coordinate with design teams to manage schedules and client expectations.Will have proposal writing and monthly billing responsibilities.SkillsExtensive experience in project scheduling, project management, client management and business development.Proficiency with engineering software used in land development including ADICPR, EPA net or similar pressure pipe model.Strong background in Land Development engineering for Single Family, Multifamily residential developments, as well as, commercial and industrial developments.Hands-on experience with preparing full engineering plans and supporting calculations.Experience in reviewing plans and calculations prepared by junior engineers and designers.Strong communication skills for technical documentation review, client coordination and staff development.This role demands a proactive leader who combines technical skills with strategic growth.
