The City of Bell Gardens Police Department (BGPD) is seeking highly motivated and public service oriented individuals for the position of Part-Time Jailer. Under the supervision of a Police Sergeant or Lieutenant, processes the admission and release of persons in custody including preparing booking reports and release forms, fingerprinting, photographing and safeguarding property entrusted to their care; prepares reports at the station not requiring the presence of a sworn police officer, and performs other related duties, as assigned.
