Locum Neurosurgeon (Jackson, MI) Seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurosurgeon to provide adult neurosurgery and trauma coverage on a locum basis. This is a hospital-based role focused on weekend and holiday call support at a Level II trauma center. Position Highlights: Adult neurosurgery and trauma care, including brain bleed management, trauma repair, and spine surgery (fusion, laminectomy, diskectomy, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty)Critical care procedures including EVD management and ICP/CPP monitoring24-hour call coverage from Friday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AMCoverage needed ASAP with an indefinite durationWork alongside a team of two neurosurgeons plus locum supportEpic EMR systemRequirements: Board Eligible or Board Certified in NeurosurgeryActive Michigan medical licenseBLS certificationAbility to independently manage adult neurosurgery and trauma casesExperience with Epic EMRAbility to cover 24-hour weekend and holiday callCurrent NPDB self-query (within 30 days of presentation)Fellowship training preferredCredentialing is estimated at days.
