RELOCATION AVAILABLE.Candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday-Friday during normal business hours - nominally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some flexibility based on ability of site to support and employee preference.Physical Requirements:The position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. Applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25lbs.Authorized to Work:Applicants must complete a background check and drug screen and be fully authorized to work for any client in the United States. The company will not sponsor or continue a visa for this position.Responsibilities:As a facilities electrical engineer, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our client's semiconductor-based manufacturing in Wilton, CT. You and other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this role you will collaborate with on-site personnel to support projects of varying size and complexity, including assessment of systems, consulting system owners, and analyzing scope requests from stakeholders.The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with the client, contractors, and site personnel. Your job includes designing, developing, evaluating, and preparing recommendations with basis of design (BOD), scope of work (SOW) documents, in addition to design, construction and specifications documents through the positional (programming) process with a team.You'll oversee engineering and construction for the facility power distribution system work (up to 13.8 kV), grounding, lighting, emergency and standby generation systems, life safety systems, and fire alarm and detection systems.
