Construction Superintendent
Role Description: This is a full-time Construction Superintendent role. The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and ensure that work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities: Include scheduling and sequencing tasks, monitoring site progress, and proactively addressing delays or issues. The role requires enforcing safety protocols, conducting site inspections, and maintaining compliance with building codes and company policies. The Construction Superintendent will also assist with budgeting and cost control, track materials and equipment, and collaborate with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders to keep projects on time and within scope. Clear communication, documentation of site activities, and regular progress reporting are essential parts of the position.QualificationsStrong Construction Site Management skills, including coordination of trades, oversight of field operations, and quality control.Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor Construction Safety procedures, conduct safety meetings, and maintain compliance with regulations.Proven Organization Skills for managing schedules, documentation, materials, and competing priorities across multiple project phases.Experience with Budgeting, cost tracking, and supporting financial decisions to help maintain projects within approved budgets.Solid Project Management skills, including planning, sequencing work, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.Experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role in commercial or residential construction.Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining strong site presence and oversight through regular visits and digital tools.Proficiency with construction management software, digital plans, and standard office applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse on-site teams and collaborate with office-based staff.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training, trade certifications, or a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
