Construction Project Manager

Position Overview:Client is a leading design-build construction company specializing in Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) and single-family homes. With a strong presence in the California market, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality residential construction projects that meet our clients' needs and exceed expectations.Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of new residential construction projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.Manage and track project budgets, ensuring all expenditures stay within the allocated budget and any discrepancies are reported and addressed promptlyLead and manage a small team of project coordinators, construction personnel, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and ensuring the team meets project milestonesWork closely with the sales team, architect team, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.Identify and address potential issues or delays in the construction process. Implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.Ensure all projects comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and permit requirements.Source additional subcontractors and licensed labors for additional works, or projects.Serve as clients' primary point of contact, providing regular updates on project progress and managing expectations throughout the construction process.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.At least 4 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on residential projects (ADU and single-family housing).Proven experience in managing budgets, timelines, and teams for construction projects.Strong understanding of residential construction processes and local building regulations.Excellent time and task management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenges in a proactive manner.Chinese speaking required, Residential (ADU)Construction experience is required, and knowledge of CA residential building codes.Needs to be flexible and able to fill in a team working environment and have good leadership skills.Benefits : Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
