Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location: Ithaca, NY Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Schedule: 3 shifts per week Hours: 12-hour shifts Pay Rate: $55–$60 per hour Position Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring along with comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms; promptly report changes in patient condition Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities Preferred Qualifications Recent telemetry experience in an acute care hospital Experience with EPIC or a comparable EMR system BLS certification (AHA required) ACLS certification For more details contact at pmohanty@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-806-4227.
