Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg Tele/n/nJob Details:/n• Work in a high-acuity, fast-paced medical-surgical environment specializing in acute stroke and complex telemetry patients/n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, and ability to read basic rhythm strips prior to arrival/n• Work with primary and team nursing model/n• Perform and document frequent neurological assessments including NIH Stroke Scale/n• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in real time/n• Ensure compliance with stroke core measures including dysphagia screening, education, and care plans/n• Administer medications using BCMA standards with focus on safety and accuracy/n• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team including providers, therapy, and case management/n• Manage admissions, discharges, and patient flow in high-turnover environment/n• Maintain constant focus on falls prevention, skin integrity, and patient safety/n• Deliver evidence-based, protocol-driven care with emphasis on rapid intervention and interdisciplinary collaboration/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility features a specialized 34-bed Stroke Telemetry Unit that focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for acute stroke and complex telemetry patients.
