This role works onsite daily and partners closely with hospital leadership, facilities operations teams, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to support infrastructure improvements, operational readiness, and healthcare construction initiatives.This position assists in managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction, activation, and transition to operations, while ensuring alignment with healthcare operational and regulatory standards.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesClient RelationsEstablish positive and collaborative working relationships with colleagues, hospital stakeholders, consultants, and contractorsDemonstrate adaptability and responsiveness to support operational and project objectivesSupport communication and coordination across project teams and facility operationsLeadershipApply logic, technical knowledge, and sound judgement to project-related decisionsDemonstrate awareness of operational impacts within an active healthcare environmentEscalate concerns and support resolution of project or operational issues as neededCommunication & PresentationPrepare meeting minutes, reports, schedules, dashboards, and project documentation clearly and efficientlyCommunicate professionally with hospital leadership, consultants, contractors, and project teamsMaintain open communication between all project stakeholders and facility operations personnelCritical ThinkingApply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to operational and project-related challengesRecognize team capabilities, resources, and prioritiesSupport decision-making with professionalism and accountabilityTechnical FundamentalsUtilize computer applications for project cost tracking, scheduling, and documentationDevelop working knowledge of healthcare facility operations, building systems, and construction techniquesDevelop understanding of architectural systems, infrastructure systems, and healthcare regulatory environmentsParticipate in ensuring field compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and operational standardsDevelop working knowledge of applicable federal, state, local, and healthcare regulatory requirementsCost ManagementAssist with gathering project information to define scope, schedule, and budget requirementsTrack ongoing project costs against established budgetsSupport analysis of budgets, schedules, and project impactsSchedule ManagementMaintain project schedules and activity trackingSupport project coordination and schedule communication with stakeholdersAssist with project closeout, startup, and operational transition activitiesCore ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day coordination of healthcare facility projects and operational initiativesEnsure safety protocols and healthcare facility regulations are followed throughout project executionAssist with coordination between consultants, contractors, vendors, and facility stakeholdersCoordinate project activities in a manner that minimizes disruption to hospital operations and patient careTroubleshoot and elevate project or operational concerns appropriatelyAssist with maintaining organized project workflows from initiation through completionSupport collaboration between facilities operations, clinical stakeholders, contractors, and project teamsParticipate in facility assessments, field observations, and operational readiness initiatives as neededEssential Skills & Experience1–3 years of project coordination, construction, facilities, or healthcare infrastructure experience preferredBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environmentStrong organizational and prioritization skillsStrong work ethic and desire to learnSelf-starter with the ability to adapt within a dynamic environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working within healthcare, hospital, or regulated facility environments preferredFamiliarity with healthcare infrastructure systems and operational coordination is a plusWorking knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or life safety systems preferredReports To: Project ExecutiveWork Location: Nashville, TN.
