Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures.Perform x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units.Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures.Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone.Maintain X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; ensure preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis; contact outside service for major malfunctions according to established guidelines.Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate that departments/units ability to meet its goals and objectives.Minimum Qualifications Radiology TechnologistHigh School diploma or equivalentSuccessful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Current license/certification in the state of practiceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart AssociationPreferred Qualifications Radiology TechnologistAt least one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experienceMinimum Qualifications Radiology Technologist II ($34.06-52.55/hr)Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Current license/certification in the state of practiceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart AssociationMinimum of 2 years Radiology Technologist ExperienceAbility to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional teamPreferred Qualifications Radiology Technologist IIN/ACarrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, WalkingLocation:Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional HospitalWork City:BillingsWork State:MontanaScheduled Weekly Hours:40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
