Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 5+ years of critical care experience in both MICU and SICU settings for a night shift position at a Level 1 trauma hospital in Boston, MA.Job Details• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week,• Every other weekend required,• Every other holiday required,• Critical care setting serving MICU and SICU patient populations,• NICU patient experience preferred,• Experience with lung protective ventilation required,• Experience with Dräger XL and V500 ventilators preferred,• Participation on Code Blue team required,Job Requirements• Minimum 5 years of recent respiratory therapy experience,• Recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU required,• Level 1 trauma hospital experience required,• Active MA Respiratory Care license required (license required if applicable),• Required certifications: RRT, NRP, BLS,• Preferred certifications: NPS and/or ACCS,• Ability to make independent ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results,• Two professional references required for consideration - at least one must be from a manager-level or above (not listed as supervisor), must include a performance evaluation; one reference must be within 12 months, the other within 3 years; references from fellow travelers are not accepted,Additional Information• Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill adult patients in MICU and SICU environments, with potential NICU patient exposure,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates,
