Business Development Representative

Job Overview:Are you a strategic hunter ready to build a high-growth sales engine from the ground up?As our Business Development Representative, you will design and execute a multi-channel outbound strategy—spanning cold email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach—to secure discovery calls with premium retailers and corporate partners. This is a pivotal role where you won't just follow a playbook; you will build the systems, refine the scripts, and drive the expansion of our brand’s footprint across North America.Schedule:Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (with one hour paid break)Responsibilities:Build a segmented target list of Canadian/US retailers, gift shops, spas, hotels, and corporate gifting prospectsDesign multi-touch cold email sequences with A/B test variantsWrite cold call scripts, objection handling guides, and voicemail templatesConfigure outreach tooling (Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, or similar) and HubSpot workflowsDocument SOPs so the system is repeatableRun consistent outbound across LinkedIn, IG, cold email, and cold callsMulti-touch follow-up sequences across channelsBook discovery calls on the closer's calendarConfirm meetings and track no-showsKeep HubSpot CRM clean and currentSubmit a Friday report on outreach activity, meetings booked, meetings held, and pipeline healthRequirements:Proven B2B Expertise: 2+ years in lead generation or SDR roles with a track record of building outbound systems from scratch rather than just following an existing playbook.Exceptional Verbal Communication: Ability to engage North American buyers with a clear, warm, and professional phone presence to build rapport and navigate objections with confidence.Strategic Writing Skills: Mastery of conversational, persuasive English to craft personalized, "non-templated" outreach that resonates with professional prospects.Resilient Hunter Mentality: High comfort level with cold calling and the persistence to navigate gatekeepers and execute multi-channel follow-ups.Tech Stack Proficiency: Expert fluency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sequencing tools (Apollo, Instantly, or similar), and CRM management (HubSpot preferred).High Autonomy: A self-directed professional with a strong work ethic who thrives in a remote environment and hits targets without daily oversight.Technical Setup: Access to a quiet workspace, high-speed internet, a professional headset for high-quality outbound calls, and a dedicated Windows PC with a stable operating system.Nice to have:Retail, wholesale, home goods, or hospitality backgroundCold email copywriting samplesCanadian or US market familiarityFamiliarity with AI toolsDialer experience (Quo, CallTools, JustCall, Aircall, RingCentral)Candle, home fragrance, or lifestyle brand exposureIndependent Contractor Perks: Permanent work from homeImmediate hiringHealth Insurance Coverage for eligible locationsNote:Please click the "Apply" button to complete your application, including the assessment questions, technical check, and voice recording.
