Medical OncologistBronx, New YorkPosition OverviewA large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Medical Oncologist to join its growing oncology service. This role focuses on medical oncology care, with close collaboration alongside surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and other specialties within a multidisciplinary cancer care model.Part-time and full-time options available. New graduates are welcome.Clinical ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage patients with a wide range of solid tumors and hematologic malignanciesExplain cancer diagnoses, staging, prognosis, and treatment options to patients and familiesDevelop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including:ChemotherapyImmunotherapyTargeted and biologic therapiesMonitor treatment response and manage therapy-related side effects and complicationsCoordinate care with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and other specialistsProvide symptom management and supportive care, including pain managementParticipate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care planning discussionsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMRProvide longitudinal outpatient oncology care, with inpatient involvement as applicablePractice Setting & ScheduleMultispecialty group with oncology services across multiple Bronx locationsOutpatient-focused medical oncology practiceFlexible scheduling with full-time or part-time optionsRequirementsBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible in Medical Oncology (Hematology/Oncology acceptable if applicable)Eligible for New York medical licensureStrong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skillsInterest in collaborative, team-based oncology careNew graduates encouraged to applyTechnologyEMR system: eClinicalWorksCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation: $275,000-$375,000 annually, commensurate with experience and scheduleComprehensive benefits for providers working 20+ hours per weekMalpractice coverage provided for benefit-eligible providersProviders working fewer than 20 hours per week must maintain their own malpractice insuranceOrganization HighlightsLarge multispecialty group with offices throughout the five boroughsOver 140 physicians and 100+ advanced practice providersEstablished referral network and oncology infrastructureEasily accessible locations via public transportationLifestylePractice in the Bronx with access to all that New York City has to offerDiverse patient population and urban clinical experience
