Freight Payment & Audit Associate

Job Title: Freight Payment & Audit Associate Location : Rahway, NJ - Hybrid Duration: 08 Months+ (Possible Extension) Shift & Timing: Regular Business Hour, Monday to Friday Pay Range: $28.70/Hour on W2 Job Description: · Execution of internal and external processes supporting freight payment, management of third-party freight audit providers, responsibility for logistics reporting processes, and communication of program performance. · Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely payment of freight invoices in accordance with contracts. · Drive deployment of standard freight audit and pay practices. · Develop a transportation budget overview and reporting to monitor and explain monthly performance aProductst the plan. · Measure and report the effectiveness of the audit and payment processes. · Ensure the transfer of freight payment data from the audit and/or payment provider into reporting system. · Determine metrics, implement changes to drive business improvements and maintain dashboards to achieve targets and communicate progress monthly, quarterly, annually. · Conduct regular process improvement reviews to identify automation or enhancement opportunities. · Manage relationship and ongoing improvement projects with third-party freight audit provider. · Manage month end accrual and journal entry in a timely manner. · Support carrier on-line shipping application. Skills & Requirement: · Extensive experience with MS Office applications. · Experience with analytics and dashboarding tools. · Experience with SAP ECC and SAP Ariba in the context of purchase order management and accounting. · Strong customer service mindset. · Comfort working with a diverse stakeholder panel with widely varying levels of understanding of logistics and freight payment. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: · Experience with creating and using PowerBI reports and dashboards. · Pharma industry experience. · Intense attention to detail, while working with large data sets and individual documents.
