Opportunity Highlights As a Family Nurse Practitioner in the newborn nursery, you will play an essential role in supporting the care and well-being of newborn patients. Responsibilities include conducting routine newborn examinations and well-baby assessments, performing developmental screenings and growth evaluations, and administering immunizations while providing preventive care guidance to families. The provider will also educate parents on newborn care, nutrition, and safety, coordinate follow-up care with pediatricians or specialists when appropriate, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting hospital quality and patient care initiatives. Schedule & Compensation This position offers 1 week on and 1 week off, providing an excellent opportunity for work-life balance. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration and maintain current FNP certification through AANP or ANCC.
