Patient Access RepresentativeWe are seeking Patient Access Representative for a large healthcare system based out of Massachusetts.This is a contract role for 13 weeks.Summary:The Patient Access Representative is responsible for supporting patient access and front-office operations to enhance the overall patient experience and clinic revenue. This role involves patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection within a fast-paced medical office environment.Key Responsibilities:Review, update, and maintain accurate patient demographic and registration informationVerify insurance coverage and scan required documentation at the time of serviceObtain referral and waiver forms as neededCollect co-payments and self-pay balancesGreet and check in patients, ensuring a positive experienceSchedule various types of appointments using electronic systemsEnter and manage managed care referralsHandle inbound and outbound calls and manage work queuesProvide general information and support to patients and visitorsPerform additional administrative duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in a medical office settingOphthalmology experience preferred
