Member Enrollment Support Specialist

As a Member Enrollment Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting prospective members in navigating the enrollment process for Molina health insurance products. Your responsibilities will include identifying, interviewing, and screening eligible individuals, providing education about health plan options, and ensuring accurate processing of all necessary documentation. Essential Responsibilities:Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment targets. Conduct inbound and outbound calls to facilitate member enrollment processes. Meet with potential members in various community locations to provide support and guidance. Educate and assist potential members as they navigate the health care system and complete applications. Provide clear information about plan features, benefits, and payment options. Help members select plans and primary care physicians. Submit completed applications in accordance with state requirements and Molina guidelines. Assist current members with required recertification processes. Respond to inquiries from prospective members while adhering to marketing guidelines. Comply with enrollment regulations and requirements. Participate in community outreach events and projects, committing a minimum of eight hours weekly. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners including hospitals, providers, and community organizations. Engage in community health fairs and external meetings as necessary. Be available for occasional weekend or evening events as required. Travel locally as needed. Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years experience in health care or customer service, including familiarity with state and federal health insurance programs. Completion of New York State of Health Assistors (NYSOH) required training and certification. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with no restrictions. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Attention to detail and effective organizational skills. Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to change. Knowledge of managed care insurance plans is a plus. Experience working with diverse populations. Understanding of confidentiality requirements under HIPAA. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software. Preferred Qualifications:Experience enrolling members into managed care or health insurance programs. Bilingual in Spanish and English is desirable.
