Position Title: Travel Respiratory TherapistLocation: Hyannis, MA 02601Assignment Type: Travel ContractSchedule: 3 Days/WeekShift: Night Shift (07:00 PM - 07:00 AM)Travel Pay Rate: $60/hr - $68/hr (Based on experience)Position Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. This role includes ventilator management, airway care, emergency response, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and manage acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditionsInitiate, monitor, and wean ventilatory support using lung-protective strategiesPerform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)Conduct diagnostic procedures such as ABG draws, sputum collection, spirometry, and capnographyAdminister oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, Heliox, and high-flow oxygenManage invasive and non-invasive ventilation systemsAssist with intubations, bronchoscopies, and conscious sedation proceduresProvide airway management including suctioning and tracheostomy careRespond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team (RRT) eventsMonitor patients during intra- and inter-facility transportDeliver care across patient populations including neonatal and pediatricParticipate in multidisciplinary rounds and care planningMaintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure charge reconciliationMaintain respiratory equipment and suppliesSupport training and precepting of staff and students as neededRequired QualificationsEducation & Certifications:Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy LicenseBasic Life Support (BLS) CertificationNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CertificationExperience:Minimum 1 year of critical care experience preferredFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
