Perfusionist Location: New Orleans, LA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $6,013 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Perfusionist Profession: Perfusionist Specialty: Perfusionist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Current license as a Perfusionist by the state board of medical examiners or ability to obtain a state license Certifications: Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Must-Have: Completion of a formal training program in Extracorporeal Technology Experience in adult cardiopulmonary bypass Experience with ventricular assist support and Intra Aortic Balloon Pump support Description: Please ensure you are aware of the assignment expectations. Upon accepting the position, you may be assigned to an "Emergency Team" where you will be expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details regarding pay for emergency events will be provided as impacts vary. By accepting this position, you agree to report as assigned in the event of an emergency. Clinicians in this role will conduct various procedures including adult cardiopulmonary bypass, provide ventricular assist support, and manage Intra Aortic Balloon Pump operations. Additionally, you will perform auto transfusion, physiological monitoring, hemofiltration, and operate blood analyzers and Ex-vivo organ systems. Previous charge experience is a plus. You will be required to work weekends and weekdays in rotation. A background in managing patient ratios is beneficial. This role involves working with adults and geriatric populations. All candidates must comply with vaccine requirements. References will be required for clearance to start the contract. Candidates must have relevant experience and licenses in hand upon submission.
