This is not a corporate environment — it is a business that rewards smart, hungry leaders who take ownership and drive results.The OpportunityWe are seeking a VP of Strategy & Finance to serve as a core member of the company's leadership team and help guide the next phase of growth.This role sits at the center of the business, helping leadership evaluate opportunities, structure supplier partnerships, manage financial exposure across global programs, and build the financial systems needed to support a growing company.As part of the core leadership team, you will work directly with the company owner, CFO, and Director of Operations to evaluate opportunities, guide financial strategy, and solve the company's most important challenges. The role offers the opportunity to help shape the financial and strategic direction of the business while building the systems and processes that support continued growth.This is a rare chance to step into a senior leadership role at a profitable, cash-generating, fast-growing business — with a path to becoming part of the ownership-level leadership team as the company scales.What You Will Own1. Pricing & Program EconomicsTheir profitability depends on pricing programs correctly — accounting for supplier costs, freight, tariffs, FX exposure, and margin targets across a complex global supply chain.Develop and maintain pricing and financial models across all supplier programs for both business unitsTrack and incorporate changes in freight, tariffs, FX markets, and raw material costs in real timeProvide leadership with clear, product-level margin visibility across customers and programsSupport the sales team with pricing guidance and deal-level economicsContinuously rebuild and stress-test the margin model as the business scales and evolvesGenerate ideas and test new approaches to pricing — this is nuanced work that rewards creative thinking2. Strategic Program EvaluationAbility to evaluate new supplier programs and retail partnerships regularly. This leader will drive the financial and commercial diligence behind those decisions.Analyze program-level economics and return potential for new opportunitiesEvaluate working capital implications of new programsAssess supplier commitments, deposit requirements, and margin potentialBuild business cases and investment recommendations for leadership reviewIdentify new opportunities — where should the business grow, and how?3. Supplier Contracts & Commercial TermsManagement of supplier agreements and retail customer contracts are core commercial assets. This role ensures their structure protects their financial position and supports scalable growth.Oversee pricing adjustment mechanisms, payment terms, and deposit structuresManage minimum order quantities, inventory ownership, liability terms, and minimum commitment structuresCoordinate with external legal counsel on contract review and draftingEnsure contract structures align with program economics and working capital strategy4. Financial Oversight & ReportingWorking closely with the controller and CFO this role will take some ownership of financial reporting and ensure leadership has a precise view of the business at all times.Partner with the controller to review the books and produce accurate monthly financial reportingOversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process across both business unitsBuild KPI dashboards that provide granular visibility into product-level performance by customer and regionIdentify opportunities to improve margin and operating efficiency on an ongoing basis5. Technology, AI & Operational LeverageThey are committed to doing more with less — and believes technology is a key lever.
