Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: - Work in operating room environment with 14 total ORs (2 CVORs, 12 general ORs) - Day shift operations from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM with 6 rooms, extended coverage until 7:00 PM with reduced rooms - Shift starts at 6:30 AM with daily huddle at 6:45 AM - 1:1 patient ratio for all surgical cases - On-call requirements: staff self-schedule 1-2 on-call shifts per week - Weekend coverage through 24-hour on-call Saturday and Sunday - Weekday on-call begins at end of regular shift (5:00 PM to 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) - 30-minute response time required for on-call situations - Must have 2 years OR circulating experience at acute care hospital - Must have CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience - Varied skill set required including General Surgery, ENT, Urology/Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Robotics - CNOR certification preferred along with 5 years experience - Handle heavy robotics, gynecological, general surgery, ENT, colorectal, vascular, and urology procedures - Float to preoperative holding area as needed - Required certification: BLS - Hospital-provided scrubs required - Artificial nails, dips, and gels not permitted - Must be flexible with ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment - Work with Meditech ORM electronic medical record system Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department featuring 14 operating rooms including specialized cardiovascular operating rooms.
