Electronic Data Interchange Specialist

Sofidel America is a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, one of the leading manufacturers of paper for hygienic and domestic use worldwide.We have an immediate need for an EDI-SAP Support Analyst who will work with our SAP, EDI, I.T. and Customer Service teams on various EDI support tasks and projects. The candidate will provide all EDI support relating to our ERP system SAP and EDI applications, analyzing company and user needs, troubleshooting, recommending solutions, providing training and support as required. Analyzing EDI and SAP data to maintain our systems and confirm the company information is accurate so as not to cause errors with orders, logistics and invoice documents. Work with other departments to assist with data management and troubleshooting.Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide EDI and SAP support in analyzing/solving technical issuesAssist Customer Service and other Depts. and external consultants in EDI/SAP requirements, analysis, business process documentation and IT specificationsAssist EDI VAN on setup of new customers or Document typesTroubleshoot/resolve issues with all local EDI transactions including 850,810,856 etc.Analyze raw data sets and identify mapping issues or bad dataJob Requirements:A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field is required3-4 years’ experience supporting EDI transactions with customers SAP or other ERPExperience with SAP Order to Invoice process and data setsExperience mapping EDI transactions with customersExperience creating X12 transactions (810, 850, 856)Experience writing/debugging/enhancing simple SQL queries and stored proceduresExperience with B2B Data Integration SoftwareExperience writing “How To” and training DocumentsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and EDI mapping toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Self-starter with ability to work with remote teamsCompany Benefits:Great work environmentCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits package including health coverage with vision and dental, 401k and PTOEqual Opportunity Employer:Sofidel America is an equal opportunity employer.
