Plant Operator

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing**· Safely operate a Concrete Batch Plant and load ready-mix trucks to deliver concrete to customer job sites.· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in good operating condition.· Communicate professionally with customers and teammates to ensure efficient and accurate deliveries.· Maintain adherence to safety procedures at all times.· Assist with routine Plant cleaning and minor maintenance activities.**What We Are Looking For**· Safe and responsible Plant operation with strong attention to detail.· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.· Skill in attention to operational details and adapting to changing conditions.· Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.· Capability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working outdoors.**Conditions of Employment**· Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.· Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.**Work Environment**· Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**What We Offer**· $25.80-$26.87 per hour· Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension· Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays**Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled****Req ID** JR10013925As part of our hiring process, we may use AI-assisted tools to support the screening and evaluation of candidate applications and interviews.
