Position Summary: We are hiring for a Territory Sales Executive (TSE) in the Sacramento, CA and Reno, NV area. As a Territory Sales Executive, you are responsible for selling CVS Specialty pharmacy services to key targeted physicians, medical clinics, hospitals, and academic institutions. In this role, you will get to support the therapies for the Oncology, Immunoglobulin, Autoimmune and Pulmonary Hypertension disease states. This position will be the primary contact for respective providers and medical staff within the assigned territory. Specialty Pharmacy is our fastest growing business segment making this an excellent opportunity to get on board with CVS Health. You will work independently to promote and sell our multitude of services and solutions for dispensing complex, high-cost medications for rare or chronic conditions to healthcare providers, clinics, and other stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, educating healthcare professionals, managing a sales territory, resolving customer issues, and building strong relationships with key accounts/contacts and internal teams to meet sales goals and ensure proper medication management for specialty patients. Your success is measured through percent to sales performance goal metrics, internal and external partnerships and other key performance metrics. As a seasoned healthcare sales professional, you have the opportunity to use your personal influence with providers to grow the specialty referral and prescription business. This is a highly visible role where you can own your success and play a key role in driving CVS Specialty's business forward into the future! Candidates should be flexible for travel up to 50%, this is a road warrior position with significant windshield time. The territory mainly covers the Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Auburn, Chico, Redding, Crescent City, Reno NV, Carson City, NV and Lake Tahoe. The candidate must reside within the territory and must be willing to travel overnight as needed. The ideal candidate will be located in the Sacramento or immediate surrounding area. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy sales, pharmaceutical sales or other healthcare related sales Must possess a valid and current driver's license. Must possess personal vehicle sufficiently reliable to meet reimbursement program requirements and travel needs. Travel up to 50%, this is a road warrior position with significant windshield time and potential for overnight. Preferred Qualifications: Selling infused and injectable biologic/biosimilar products in a complex disease states Familiar with buy-and-bill and medical + pharmacy billing Home nursing knowledge If your experience is in pharmaceutical sales, it is preferred that you have hospital and or experience in a specialty division. Previous experience working in a complex disease states is optimal. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is: $83,050.00 - $174,134.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. Great benefits for great people.
