Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking System Engineering Technical Specialists to support the Phantom Works Supplier Requirements Engineering team in St. Charles, MO.This position receives and formats data to provide documentation that assists internal customers in the development of engineering products, services and processes.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate (Levels 1 or 2) System Engineering Technical Specialist.Position ResponsibilitiesAssists in the collection of engineering requirements and the development of prospective suppliersAssist engineering with estimates, e.g.: pricing and delivery information in preparation of proposalsVerify products meet regulatory conformance and contractual complianceInterface between Engineering and Supplier Management organizationsCoordinate with Procurement Agents, Engineers, Suppliers to secure pricing and delivery informationCreate procurement requests and track statusResponsible for Backorder status to ensure on time deliveryThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Associates degree or years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceExperience with Microsoft Office applicationsExperience using verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)2+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceExperience with programming languages, tools and applicationsExperience in a role that required the ability to work in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teamsConflict of InterestSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free WorkplaceBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Employee ReferralReferral to this job is eligible for bonus to qualifying candidates.Total RewardsAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
