Fund Controller
Job TitleMain ResponsibilitiesOversee the financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingOversee fund accounting operations, including monthly investor distributions, annual financial statement preparation, and investor reportingManage the company's cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and investmentsDevelop and implement cash management strategies to optimize the company's financial positionCoordinate with external CPA firm to deliver annual K-1 and 1099 filingsProvide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilitiesCoordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth and efficient audit processesEnsure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirementsContribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic plansProvide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making at the executive levelCollaborate with external counsel to manage regulation A SEC reporting and auditsRequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting within a public accounting firm, preferably at a managerial levelCPA designation a plusExperience in private credit, private equity, or real estate preferredManagement experience with proven ability to lead teams and consistently deliver resultsMastery of QuickBooks Office Pro, Excel, WordSharp attention to detail with the ability to develop processesBachelor's degree required, finance and accounting concentrations preferred
