Strategic Client LiaisonYou will report into the SVP, Client Leadership and is a hybrid opportunity based in our New York office. A successful candidate will be the strategic liaison for clients, internal teams, and partner agencies. You will champion strategically and creatively sharp work, be a true partner to clients, show a passion for the brand and category, and easily navigate a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.Responsibilities:Builds and sustains relationships with senior level clients and becomes the client's trusted strategic partner.Acts as a senior strategic partner to clients, translating business challenges into creative opportunities that drive growth.Strategic thinker capable of leading the brand's strategy with stakeholders including internal and external agency partners.Lead teams through strategic development, creative ideation, production, and flawless execution.Think collaboratively across creative and media and leverages various disciplines in the agency to present client brand-building opportunities and agency-building initiatives.Builds and leads agile workflows that support rapid content creation, real-time optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.Anticipates bottlenecks and proactively solves for prioritization and delivery across a fast-moving portfolio.Lead and oversee all account operations as it relates to the business of the agency.Oversee development of social first creative systems, including rapid content production, influencer integration, community-driven ideas, and platform-native storytelling.Ensure creative teams stay ahead of platform shifts, emerging formats, and cultural trends, translating them into scalable content strategies for multiple brands.Identify client issues and work with our agency partners to provide solutions.Inspire agency and client confidence and seek opportunities to advance the client relationship.Interprets performance data, audience insights, and media signals to guide creative iteration and optimization.Partners with analytics to build test-and-learn roadmaps that improve effectiveness across brand and demand campaigns.Empower teams through engaging career development practices; maximize learning and productivity while minimizing turnover.In partnership with business lead, oversees client financials and account profitability.Analyze P&L statements and take necessary action to ensure profitability.Provides leadership on agency delivery; ensures all deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and meets the client's expectations.Provide honest and valuable counsel to the agency team.Create applicable development plans for direct reports.Qualifications:Account team leader/senior client advisorProject management expertManagement experience is required. Able to empower, keep teams on track, and participate in professional development of staff.High energy, able to effectively operate in a fast-paced, growing, and evolving environment.Demonstrate superior oral, written and strategic abilitiesHas experience with financial planning and revenue forecastingNavigates highly regulated or operationally complex categories (CPG, QSR, pharma) with confidence, ensuring creative excellence while maintaining compliance and speed.Experience managing multiple brands simultaneously, balancing long-term brand building with short-term performance needs across varied business cycles.10-12 Years of integrated agency account management experience and 5 years in a senior supervisory role.At dentsu, we believe great work happens when we're connected. Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.The annual salary range for this position is $136,850-$185,000.
