Actable is headquartered in New York City, with offices in Portland, OR, and Denver, CO, and we are open to remote candidates across the U.S. Role Overview The Director, Client Results is a senior strategic leader accountable for the health, retention and growth of key client relationships. This role combines executive-level relationship management, business strategy, and data-driven marketing expertise. You’ll be responsible for shaping client roadmaps, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring that Actable delivers exceptional value across every engagement. You’ll work closely with executive stakeholders—internally and externally—to align on priorities, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and influence marketing outcomes through customer data and technology. You are not just managing accounts—you are building partnerships that unlock long-term success. Key Responsibilities Executive Relationship Development • Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to client executives and senior stakeholders • Develop a deep understanding of client business models, priorities, and customer data maturity • Build long-term relationships rooted in trust, credibility, and consistent business impact Growth Strategy & Opportunity Leadership • Identify new opportunities to deepen partnerships and expand Actable’s footprint within client organizations • Lead strategic account planning, revenue forecasting, and growth initiatives across client portfolios • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proactive solutions aligned to evolving client needs Engagement Oversight & Delivery Leadership • Ensure successful execution of high-impact projects, projects, and ongoing advisory services • Oversee integrated delivery teams across strategy, data, and analytics • Ensure all work is aligned to client objectives and that teams are resourced and prioritized effectively Marketing & Data Strategy • Guide clients in transforming customer data into actionable marketing outcomes • Provide strategic input on data architecture, use cases, and activation plans related to customer data warehouses, customer data activation and AI-enablement • Stay ahead of industry trends to help clients adopt the right technologies and approaches at the right time Client Health & Financial Stewardship • Understand key client success factors, communicate to the team and deliver on them in service or client satisfaction and retention • Own revenue, margin, and satisfaction metrics for your portfolio • Maintain regular executive-level reporting on account performance and growth trajectory • Lead renewal and upsell conversations with a focus on long-term value creation Qualifications & Experience Must-Haves • 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles within consulting and customer analytics • Demonstrated success owning senior-level client relationships and delivering successful client engagements • Expertise in marketing strategy, marketing technology and customer data and analytics • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing investments to revenue outcomes • Exceptional communication and influence skills—both internally and externally • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements with grace and clarity • A strategic mindset with a bias for execution and measurable impact Preferred Experience • Hands-on knowledge of CDPs, personalization platforms, data warehouses, or similar tools • Experience working with or within enterprise marketing teams or agencies • Familiarity with platforms like Google Analytics, Hightouch, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks • Experience managing cross-functional including virtual collaboration Cultural Add We are looking for people who are willing to come to growth-stage company to help us build something truly special, learn continuously, and have fun along the way.
