Role Description We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Controller with expertise in Construction and Work-in-Progress (WIP) Accounting. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Corpus Christi, TX. The role involves managing all accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, processing journal entries, maintaining fixed assets, and performing financial data analysis. The candidate will collaborate closely with project managers to ensure accurate project accounting and reporting, and oversee adherence to industry best practices in financial management. Qualifications Proficiency in Financial Statements and Finance for accurate reporting and complianceStrong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and solve complex accounting issuesExperience with Journal Entries and Fixed Assets to support accounting processesExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesKnowledge of construction industry standards in accounting is highly beneficialBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus
