Accounting Specialist

General DescriptionMaintains the accounting system and internal controls to ensure reliable and timely financial reporting; develops and tracks agency, departmental, and grant budgets; maintains the payroll and benefits systems; maintains accounts payable and accounts receivable activities; cash management; serves as a liaison with the Finance Committee; and provides all financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis needed to manage the finances of the organization and its programs.Requirements: Minimum three (3) years successful business accounting experience, including preparation of monthly financial statements. - Computer proficient in QuickBooks Online and Banking Systems, Adobe, and Microsoft Office. Preferred:- Two years accounting experience- Basic experience working in a Network environment and file sharing. Education Requirements:- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.SALARY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE
