Educates patients and family. Promotes patient satisfaction.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Includes standing, walking, pushing wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, lifting patient, occasionally must stoop, reach above head, carry medium to light equipment.WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS: Exposure to communicable diseases,blood and blood products, illness, confused and/or comb ative patients, hazardous chemicals, stressful situations, xrays, fluorscopy, sharp instruments, needles, and electricity.REPORTS TO: Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Charge Nurse or designeeCONTACTS: Patients, Patient's Family, Visitors, Physicians, Staff and other departmental personnel.SUPERVISES: Licensed Practical Nurse, Patient Care Partner, and other team members.What We're Looking ForEDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.EXPERIENCE: Previous experience preferredLICENSURE/QUALIFICATIONS: Current license to practice professionalnursing in New Jersey. Completes I.V. certification course as perHospital policy.
