As a part of the Installation and Repair Technician team, you are the face of ALLO you aren't just the installer but showing and explaining to the customer the benefits of fiber Internet, TV and Phone services. Again, you are in the right place.Some knowledge and telecommunications or networking is essential, and background in fiber optics is certainly a plus, but we will train you the right way. If this sounds like the GIG for you let's talk business.Colorado residents: Typical pay for this role starts at $20-$25 per hour depending on experience.• Perform installation and repair of residential and business fiber internet, TV and phone services.• Neatly run, and terminate fiber inside customer premise.• Connect fiber to ONT and MST when needed.• Provide education to customer on products and services.• Cross training to other functions as needed.• Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate home office area based on client needs, business needs and project scope.• Maintain inventory on common items on company vehicle for daily tasks.• Maintain company tools and equipment.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:High school Diploma or equivalent.Associates or 1 year of equivalent work experienceEXPERIENCE:1 year of telecommunications experience is a plus, but not required.A networking background is a plus, but not required.SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:Being a team player.Time management and organizational skills.Understanding of basic network routing protocols.Knowledge and ability to work with power tools.Maintain accurate documentation.General knowledge of Microsoft OSAbility to travel outside of home market for extended periods of time based on project and business needs.On-call rotations once trained to a competent level.Ability to be flexible on scheduled tasks.Willingness to work a flexible schedule.REQUIREMENTS:Remain upright on feet for extended periodsAbility to communicate informationAbility to crouch and crawlMove on foot up to 5 miles per dayAbility to bend, kneel, and standAbility to crawl in tight spacesAbility to ascend/descend ladderAbility to carry tools and equipmentAbility to operate a computerAbility to observe details at far rangeAbility to operate hand tools and equipmentAbility to work in outdoorsAbility to work in extreme weatherIdentify different colorsPossess/maintain a Valid Driver's License50% Travel requirement within ColoradoPeople are our passion.
